Wine Appreciation

This new class will feature a 3-hour tour through the world's wine-producing regions.  You will learn the major wine-producing grapes they grow and the major vineyards that thrive there.

We'll serve some Tapas that will be complemented by the wines and discuss what flavors will pair well with them.  This class is open to students 21 years old or older and will include samples of different classes and types of wines from around the world.  The cost is $75 per person for the course and an additional $25 per person for the wines with a minimum class size of four persons at least 21 years old.

We'll cover wines to serve with appetizers, wines to have with meals (and which wines go with which foods) and finally we'll cover dessert wines and specialty wines.  We'll cover the major wine-producing regions of the world, including Europe, the United States, Chile, South Africa, Peru, New Zealand and Australia and what makes them different and similar.

You'll also get a syllabus of the course so you'll remember what we talked about and you can take your own notes regarding each wine we taste.  I look forward to teaching this great course!!
